Nagaland is a mountainous state in northeast India, bordering Myanmar. The Konyak Tribe, better known as the headhunters, are infamous due to their tradition of head hunting. Guwahati to Nameri

Total Distance (approx.): 220 km

After breakfast ride towards Nameri.  

Nameri is a national park located on the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. It is famous for its abundance of natural beauty, wild elephants, tigers, leopards, exotic birds and the passing of the Jia Bhoroli River.

Nameri to Kaziranga

Total Distance (approx.): 120 km

After breakfast proceeds towards Kaziranga National Park.

Kaziranga National ParkThe sanctuary, which hosts two-thirds of the world's great one-horned rhinoceroses (population of around 2413), is a World Heritage Site. Along with the iconic Greater One-Horned Rhinoceros, the park is the breeding ground of elephants, wild water buffalo, swamp dee and, recently an increased tiger population as well/ The park is also recognized as an important Bird Area by Bird Life International for the conservation of avifaunal species. Birds like lesser white-fronted goose, ferruginous duck, Baer's pochard duck and lesser adjutant, greater adjutant, black-necked stork, and Asian Open bill stork specially migrate from the Central Asia during the winter season.

Kaziranga to Mon

Total Distance (approx.): 300 km

You can enjoy Kaziranga Jungle Safari at early morning. After breakfast ride to Mon village - Nagaland. 

Mon Village: Mon is the land of the captivating Konyak Nagas, whose culture and traditions are an attraction by themselves for the visitors. The forefathers of the Konyak believed that they were direct descendants of Noah, for they have biblical names like Mosa, Kaisa, Aron and so on. It is also believed that they crossed the historic gate known as Alemkaphan which is interpreted in Konyak as the gate of the sun. The Konyaks are known for their tattooed faces, blackened teeth and head hunting prowess, the last, thankfully, being a thing of the past.

Mon to Longwa

Total Distance (approx.): 40 km

After brekafast start your ride from Mon village to Longwa Village. 

Longwa Village - Longwa is World famous for its former "HEAD HUNTER" konyak warriers of whom a few still survive. A village shared by two countries - India & Myanmar (Burma)! Angh's (The Konyak King) house is right in the middle of the international border. Without doubt Konyak warriors are the most fearsome brave fighters of their time.

Mokokchung to Kohima

After breakfast start your ride to Kohima which is the hilly capital of Nagaland. Kohima is the land of the Angami Naga tribe.

Kohima Sightseeing

Total Distance (approx.): 50 km

After breakfast explore Kohima. Visit  the Kohima War Cemetery .

Overlooking Kohima amidst scenic environs, is the Kohima War Cemetery, a memorial built in honor of the officers and soldiers killed during the World War II. You can visit the holy Cathedral of Reconciliation where the architectural brilliance of Nagaland people is obviously mentioned. Visit Kohima Museum. It’s a wonderfully created museum showcasing the Naga culture including garments, art & crafts, weapons etc.

Then  ride to Naga Heritage Village - showcasing of all the tribal and indigenous customs and traditions of Nagaland state at one place called Kisama heritage village. Huts or morungs built, each unique with different customs and designs, as per the tribes living in the districts of the state. Ride back to Kohima

Kohima to Hojai (Dongkamukam)

Hojai, once part of the Dimasa Kachari Kingdom, is a small town that is at the centre of the Agar perfume industry and is home to the male Kachari Tribe. In and around the surroundings, you will be met with amazing natural sights and beauty.

Hojai to Dawki

Total Distance (approx.): 200 km

After breakfast ride to Dawki - Meghalaya.

Dawki is a town situated in the West Jaintia Hills and is famous for the Umngot River and it's crystal clear water. Boating on the river is a must experience. Dawki is also one of the few border crossings between India and Bangladesh as well.

Dawki to Cherrapunjee

Total Distance (approx.): 90 km

After breakfast proceeds to Cherrapunjee. Visit Mawsmai caves, Double decker Living Root Bridge & Nohkalikai waterfalls in Cherrapunjee. 

# MAWSMAI CAVE: Meghalaya is home to some amazing and mysterious cave systems and Mawsmai Cave is by far the most popular of the lot. Located just 6 km away from the heart of Cherrapunji Mawsmai cave is a breathtaking maze of caves in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya. The well lit caves are a view to behold when the glistening lights meet with the limestone to create countless hues and patterns of light. The length of the cave is just 150 meters which is not the longest compared to the other caves in the region but it surely provides one a glimpse of life in the underground.

# DOUBLE DECKER LIVING ROOT BRIDGE: Hidden deep in the lush, green forests of the wettest place in India: Cherrapunji, Meghalaya; one can find the magnificent Jingkieng Nongri at Double Decker Living Root Bridge; more commonly known as the Umshiang Double Decker Living Root Bridge or simply just the Double Decker Root Bridge.  This area is famous for root bridges made of Indian Rubber Tree, but the Double Decker Bridge is the most famous of all due to its large size. It is 3 kilometers long and placed at a height of 2400 feet!

# NOHKALIKAI WATERFALLS: The fourth highest waterfalls in the world, Nohkalikai falls plunge some 335 meters from a verdant cliff to the ground giving the portrayal of immense and natural magnificence. The pride of the state of Meghalaya, the falls are one of the most beautiful and grand waterfalls in the country.

Cherrapunjee to Guwahati & Depart

After breakfast proceed towards final destination - Guwahati by evening. Drop at Guwahati airport. Depart from Guwahati.
