Quick Enquiry

Nagaland is a mountainous state in northeast India, bordering Myanmar. It's home to diverse indigenous tribes, many intriguing tribal people, with festivals & local markets celebrating the different tribes' culture. The Konyak Tribe, better known as the headhunters, are infamous due to their tradition of head hunting. Nagaland is blessed with salubrious climate throughout the year & one can visit it anytime, for a quiet getaway from the hustle & bustle of city life as life here is laid-back & slow - providing a tension free life, with the perfect hilly ambience.

Aoling Festival: The Aoling Festival (sometimes spelt as Aoleng) is a festival celebrated by the Konyak Naga people & held in the first week of April in the Mon district of Nagaland, North East India. The Aoling Festival celebrates the arrival of spring and prays for a good upcoming harvest. The celebrations are held in the first week of April and coincide with the start of the Konyak New Year. During the Aoling Festival many rituals take place including dancing, feasting & sacrifices that are meant to appease the divine spirits in order to bless the land with a good harvest.
