After breakfast proceed to Nameri. Nameri National Park is famous for bird,

After breakfast start your journey towards Tawang. En-route visit Sela Lake,

throughout the year and Nuranang Waterfalls (Jung Falls).

TAWANG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast explore Tawang. Visit Tawang Monastery. The Monastery is the

2nd biggest & oldest in Asia. Then visit War Memorial - a beautiful Stupa is

built in memory of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in 1962 Sino-

TAWANG TO BUMLA PASS, MADHURI LAKE & BACK TO TAWANG

After breakfast drive to Sangetsar Lake, popularly known as Madhuri Lake (Alt.

12,165 Ft.). The lake was renamed so after the shooting of Bollywood movie

Koyla, starring Madhuri Dixit. The lake has been surrounded by wonderfully

lush valleys, and snow-capped mountains. Then proceeds to Bumla Pass-

situated at an altitude of over 15,000 ft is snowbound for almost the entire year

due to its steep elevation & marks the Indo-China border. Then drive back to

TAWANG TO BOMDILA

Approx Distance: 185 km.

After breakfast start your drive to Bomdila. via Sela Tunnel. Sela Tunnel is a

road tunnel at 3,000 metres (9,800 ft) which ensures all-weather connectivity

between Guwahati in Assam and Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh.

Bomdila has become a halt station for tourists traveling to Tawang. The

Bomdila pass offers views of Kangto and Gorichen Peaks, the highest in the

state. Overnight stay in Bomdila.

BOMDILA TO KAZIRANGA

Approx Distance: 240 km.

After breakfast drive to Kaziranga. Kaziranga National Park - a world heritage

site, the park hosts two-thirds of the world’s Great One-horned rhinoceros.

Kaziranga also boasts the highest density of tigers among the protected areas in

the world and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006. Though sighting of tigers is

difficult because of the tall grasses that provide excellent camouflage, their

presence can be felt everywhere by way of pug marks, kills and territorial

markings. The park is home to large breeding populations of elephants, wild

water buffalo and swamp deer.

KAZIRANGA TO GUWAHATI

Approx Distance: 250 km.

Early morning you can enjoy jeep safari in Kaziranga. Drive back to hotel for the

breakfast. Then ride to Guwahati. Surrender your rental motorbikes. Depart

from Guwahati.
