ARRIVAL IN GUWAHATI & TRANSFER TO KAZIRANGA

Approx Distance: 215 KM

After arrival at Guwahati you will be received by our coordinator & transfer to Kaziranga. Kaziranga National Park - a world heritage site, the park hosts two-thirds of the world’s Great One-horned rhinoceros. Kaziranga also boasts the highest density of tigers among the protected areas in the world and was declared a Tiger Reserve in 2006. Though sighting of tigers is difficult because of the tall grasses that provide excellent camouflage, their presence can be felt everywhere by way of pug marks, kills and territorial markings. The park is home to large breeding populations of elephants, wild water buffalo and swamp deer.
Enjoy Jungle Jeep safari at Kaziranga in the afternoon.

KAZIRANGA JUNGLE SAFARI

Approx Distance: 70 km.

You can enjoy Elephant safari at Kaziranga at early morning by own cost. Elephant safari timings: 5 am to 6 am & 6 am to 7 am.

You have to leave from hotel before 30 min of safari.

Cost for safari will be approx.. 1500/- per person + Camera fees Rs. 100 per camera. (this safari is not included in the cost. If you want to book it please let us know before 20 days of tour)

Back to Hotel for breakfast. Have a rest. Then in the afternoon visit the Tea estate and Orchid garden.

KAZIRANGA TO SHILLONG

Approx Distance: 275 km.

After breakfast drive to Shillong which is famously known as The Scotland of the east. Visit Umiam Lake, also known as Bara Pani, is a reservoir in the hills 15 km (9.3 mi) north of Shillong in the state of Meghalaya, India.Then visit Air Force Museum This Air Force museum is part of the Indian Air Force's eastern command in Shillong. This museum displays uniforms won by various Air Force pilots, missiles, rockets, pictures of wars, medals and miniature aircraft models.

After breakfast drive to Dawki. Visit cleanest river of india in Dawki. You can enjoy boating in Dawki river. You almost touch the Bangladesh border during the boat ride. Then head towards Shnongpdeng, a serene village in Meghalaya, India, is famed for its crystal-clear Umngot River, offering boating and adventure activities Then proceeds to the Cleanest Village of the Asia- ‘Mawlynnong’. Explore this beautiful village. Then visit famous Living Root Bridges and drive back to Cherrapunji (Sohra)

CHERRAPUNJI - DOUBLE DECKER LIVING ROOT BRIDG - CHERRAPUNJI

Approx Distance: 30 km.

After breakfast visit DOUBLE DECKER LIVING ROOT BRIDG. The Double Decker Living Root Bridge in Meghalaya, located in Nongriat village, is a remarkable natural bridge made from the intertwined roots of rubber trees. It features two levels of roots and showcases traditional Khasi engineering techniques. There is a trek of close to 3500 stairs (approx. 2 hrs.) one way to reach the bridge. (Don't forget to carry cap, water bottle & some dry snacks)
