MANALI TO KEYLONG (BILING)

Approx Distance: 120 km.

Altitude: 10,100 ft.

After breakfast, your ride starts towards Keylong. Refuel your bikes at Tandi Fuel station. Keylong is the administrative centre of the Lahaul & Spiti district. It is an oasis of green field with willow trees, murmuring water streams

Enroute exploring: Rohtang Pass (Alt. 13,058 ft.).

Route: Manali - Rohtang Pass – Tandi - Keylong - Jispa.

KEYLONG TO LEH

Approx Distance: 360 km.

Altitude: 11,562 ft.

Early morning after breakfast, kick start one of you toughest ride towards Leh.

Enroute exploring: Deepak Taal, Suraj Taal, Barlacha Pass (Alt. 16,050 Ft.), Sarchu, 21 Gata Loops, Nakila Pass (Alt. 15,551 Ft.), Lachungla Pass (Alt. 16,613 Ft.), Pang, Morey Plains (biggest plateau with a stretch of 45 km.) and Third highest pass - Taglangla pass (Alt. 17,582Ft.)

ACCLIMATIZATION DAY & LEH LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Approx Distance: 60 km.

Altitude: 11,562 ft.

After breakfast, sightseeing of Leh city. Your Manali bike will be replaced with local Leh bike. We shall enjoy local sightseeing covering: Hall of Fame, Thiksey Monastery, Sindhu ghat, Shey Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market. This day is purposely kept for  acclimatization of  your body to high altitude.

LEH TO TURTUK VIA KHARDUNGLA PASS

Approx Distance: 220 km.

Altitude: 9,846 ft.

After breakfast, we start our ride to Turtuk Village via Khardungala pass (18380 ft), which is the highest motorable road in the world. Turtuk is the last Civil Village at Indo-Pak Border. 100% Balti Community (Baltistan) resides in this village. Turtuk is also famous for seven types of Apricot. 

Enroute visit to: Highest Motorable road in the world “Khardungla Pass”; Nubra Valley.

TURTUK TO DISKIT

Approx Distance: 95 km.

Altitude: 10,315 ft.

After breakfast we will enjoy a guided village tour of TURTUK, interact with Blati King & native people also. We shall visit Traditional Balti museum & shall drive back to Diskit.

DISKIT TO SIACHEN BASE AND BACK TO PANAMIK

Approx Distance: 175 km.

Altitude: 10,442 ft.

After breakfast, visit to tallest buddha statue in the region which is 32 meters in height named ‘Maitreya Buddha’; then proceed towards Siachen Base Camp (Alt. 12,000 ft). Siachen refers to a land with an abundance of roses. Siachen glacier is the second largest glacier in the world that stretches 78 km and highest battlefield. We always wish to see how the Indian soldiers guard this battlefield. There will be a small briefing session on grueling routines and preparedness of the brave soldiers of Indian army. Later visit to Hot Water Spring at Panamik. Panamik village is very close to Siachen glacier & attracts the travelers to visit hot Sulphur springs.

SHACHUKUL TO PANGONG LAKE TO LEH

Approx Distance: 220 km.

Altitude: 11,562 ft.

After breakfast, ride towards mesmerizing Pangong Lake (14,270 ft). This natural wonder is the world’s highest saltwater lake. Enjoy photography at this blue lake. Later proceed to Leh via Changla pass. Surrender your Leh bike.

Enroute visit to: Second Highest Motorable road in the world “Changla Pass” (Alt.: 17,688 Ft.), Hemis, Shey Palace, Thikse Monastery.

Route: Shachukul –Tangtse - Pangong Lake - Changla pass - Shakti - Leh.

MANALI TO DELHI

Approx Distance: 540 km.

After breakfast check out hotel by12 pm. You can visit Manali market & report at Manali Volvo stand by 3.30 pm. Transfer to Delhi by Volvo.

Riders who have their own bikes will transport bikes from Mandi. Start your ride to Mandi early morning. Handover your bike to transporter and join the group at Mandi. Transfer to Delhi by Volvo (Manali to Mandi apprrox. distance 115 km.)
