REPORT AT MANALI & TRAVEL TO JISPA (Approx Distance: 100 km)

• Altitude: 10,500 ft.

Report at Manali by or before 11 am. Trevel to Jispa via Atul Tunnel. Jispa is a village in Lahaul, in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The primary attraction of Jispa is the Bhaga river running along the town. Overnight stat at Jispa in tents

JISPA TO PADUM VIA SHINKULA PASS (Approx Distance: 170 km)

• Altitude: 11,998 ft.

After  early morning breakfast, ride to Padum. It is the only town in and the administrative center of the Zanskar sub-district.

Enroute exploring: Shinkula Pass (Alt. 16,580 Ft.),

ACCLIMATIZATION DAY & LEH LOCAL SIGHTSEEING (Approx Distance: 60 km)

LEH TO TURTUK VIA KHARDUNGLA PASS (Approx Distance: 220 km)

• Altitude: 9,846 ft.

After breakfast, drive to Turtuk Village via Khardungala pass (18380 ft), which is the highest motorable road in the world. Turtuk is the last Civil Village at Indo-Pak Border. 100% Balti Community (Baltistan) reside in this village. Turtuk is also famous for seven types of Apricot).

Enroute visit to: Highest Motorable road in the world “Khardungla Pass”; Nubra Valley.

Route: Leh - Khardungala pass - Nubra Valley - Turtuk.

SHACHUKUL TO PANGONG LAKE TO LEH (Approx Distance: 220 km)

• Altitude: 11,562 ft.

After breakfast, ride towards mesmerizing Pangong Lake (13,860 ft). This natural wonder is the world’s highest saltwater lake. Enjoy photography at this blue lake. Later proceed to Leh via Changla pass. 

Enroute visit to: Second Highest Motorable road in the world “Changla Pass” (Alt.: 17,688 Ft.), Hemis, Shey Palace, Thikse Monastery.

Route: Shachukul –Tangtse - Pangong Lake - Changla pass - Shakti - Leh.

Enroute visit to: 3rd highest pass- Taglangla pass (Alt.17,582Ft.), Morey Plains (biggest plateau with a stretch of 45 km.), Pang, Lachungla Pass (Alt. 16,613 Ft.) and Nakila Pass (Alt. 15,551 Ft.), 21 Gata Loops, Sarchu, Barlacha Pass (Alt. 16,050 Ft.), Suraj Taal, Deepak Taal.
