Itinerary Highlights
ARRIVAL AT PORT BLAIR
• Arrive Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair) –
Cellular Jai visit – Flag point - Carbine‘s Cove beach Post dinner briefing for
next day.

PORT BLAIR – BARATANG - BETAPUR

Start from hotel at 4:00 AM and carry pack breakfast to reach Jirkatang Check
post.
•
Catch the 6:00 AM convoy to proceed towards Baratang Island.
•
Transport the bike by truck from Jirkatang to Middle Strait (Tribal Reserve
Area, following all norms). (50 kms for 2 hours travel)
•
Arrive at Baratang Island and take a boat to explore the Limestone Caves.
(aprx. 2 hours tour)
•
Lunch at Baratang
•
Start for Baratang at 01:00 pm, covering sightseeing spots en route.
•
Stop for photography at Humphrey Strait Creek Bridge, connecting Baratang
Island and Kadamtala Island. (By 03:00 Pm Stop at Check post no.3)
•
Start towards Rangat (crossing the middle Andaman)
•
From Rangat reach Betapur by 5:00 PM and night stay

BETAPUR – MAYABUNDER - DIGLIPUR
• Early
morning, start at 05:30 AM to see the sunrise close to resort and experience the
longest mangrove walk bridge in India – Dhani Nallah Mangrove Bridge and come
Back to resort.

After breakfast, start at 08:00 AM riding towards Mayabunder
•
At Mayabunder explore Karen community, an ethnic group native to Kayin State, Myanmar
culture and taste their local snacks
•
Around 12:00 noon reach Mayabunder Guest house for lunch.
•
After Lunch, by 02:30 PM start towards Diglipur.
•
Reaching Diglipur resort approx... by 05:00 pm and relax
•
At night, you can enjoy a beach walk backside of the resort with start gazing.
If you are lucky you can see the turtle nesting.

DIGLIPUR EXPLORATION: ROSS & SMITH ISLANDS & KALIPUR BEACH

• Around 11:00 AM start from the resort to catch the speed boat towards Ross and Smith Islands known as Twin Islands
